Hi fellow teeners! It's been a not-so-wonderful day today since I'm suffering from severe colds and cough. But that wouldn't stop me from interacting and posting new to my blog today. I'm a teenager. You, currently reading this, I'm pretty sure is a teenager too. Being a teenager, before I believe was all about having fun. Shopping, I love it! Give a brand name, and I can give you an accurate review of it. Parties! Though am not a party goer right now, but most teenagers are! Hehe, admit it. You know you are. Boyfriend/Girlfriend, whether fling or not, is one of the most typical things that teenagers, like us nowadays do. Recently, when I was inside a taxi on my way to Assumption Church for our Baccalaureate Mass, the cab passed by a lass of the same age picking up plastics and other stuffs. I can't help but think how hard these teeners lives are. I, a 17 year old lad, whose happiness sometimes or always depend on the amount of "papers" inside my wallet. I, a spoiled son of my mother, who wears signature brands which ranges from jeans, shirts to my bling-blings and all other stuffs. My classmate and friend Kim once told me, "Sa mga luho mo gud Pat, pwede mo na yang ipang-bayad ng tuition mo." Words like these and from the scenario I've seen on the road, I was able to make a reflection. Being a teenager is not about always having fun, it is also a matter of responsibility and consciousness of what is happening in our world right now. How can you prove that teen lifestyle=fun if people from your same age bracket are currently wanderingo n the streets, looking for plastic for them to sell, some are even selling their own flesh for them to be able to survive with their own lives? I suddenly got out from this intense imagery when I recall yesterday at the same time. My mobile phone rang through my exhausted mind, it's my mother, inviting me for breakfast at Jolibbee. Unfortunately, I can't since I haven't even had shower. So, I continued writing this article, then I stopped. I looked around. I'm in my room, alone. In my own comfortable bed with a small fan beside me which is of no use 'coz of the very cold weather. My new bought Oxygen shirt was just lying on the floor. I forgot to place it on my cabinet last night. I can smell a good aroma of our breakfast from the kitchen. The Coke Zero I've bought from the convenience store last night was spluttered on the floor, and then. I've sighed! What a very convenient life I have. Does this also apply to the teens I've seen on the road? I've just realized how lucky I am to be enjoying this kind of life full of leisure and convenience. And then, I've thought. How can I be of great help to my fellow teeners? It confused me. I didn't know where I would start. I'll leave this as a hanging question. And I hope, you guys will also share your own Teen Lifestyle and a Reflection. I'll be happy to read those.
